At least one privately owned Hunt locomotive had it's wheels reversed and gauged to 24 inches in the 80's or 90's. I believe it was in Florida at the time.

I believe there is a Hunt at Laws railroad Museum. There is an industrial locomotive there with the wheels on backwards. I think a Plymouth. I haven't been able to find a picture of it so if anyone has a contact there it might be worth a call. But then again i could be wrong.
