Unfortunately that isn't the first time that the shed and yard at Haworth have flooded over the years. Some places yesterday had a "normal" month and a half of rain in the space of one day, though, so far, I haven't seen any other reports of other preserved lines being affected to that extent. Certainly lots of problems on the main rail network though (trees down, flooding, o/h wires down, debris ending up on the tracks etc..).
93mph was the strongest gust of wind recorded round here yesterday, apart from some heavy rain, though we got a lot less precipitation than places further north and west.
Strong winds due to continue thru to Tuesday afternoon.

I've been seeing some photos of heavy water on the Cob along the Ffestiniog too. Seems like a nasty storm.
