Shay at the Old Shay Inn at McClure, Virginia, here in 1994, said to have been removed since then. One source said it powered by internal combustion engine, I presume in the tender. Anyone know for sure, and/or its status today?

Mr. Harris also owns ex-RF&P office car 100, an ex-Milwaukee diner that is set up as a B&B in Buchanan Va., a couple of diesel switchers, several cabeese and freight cars, and Old Dominion Soapstone 0-4-0 #2 that was formerly in Marion Va. He has been very helpful to the various rail preservation organizations in Virginia.
