These photos from 2006. All ex-CB&Q. Were they cut up?

LTEX 9925 was recently advertised for sale (on Ozark Mountain Railcar?) at a pretty high price. It recently came to Larry's from Nashville, TN., along with 9910 and 9917 where they were purchased for a commuter train service that never materialized.

IIRC, it's had major rebuild work done and is in much better condition than the other ex-BN units Larry's has, so I hope it wasn't (won't be) scrapped.

A bit of trivia pertaining to these units: These locomotives were part of the first remanufacturing contract landed by Morrison-Knudson Co. of Boise, Idaho. That was waaay back in...1971.

I seem to recall that the American subsidiary of MLW Industries was also involved.
