Someone wanted a photo of this one a while back, here on the Morris County Central at Newfoundland, NJ in 1976:

It ran on the Virginia Blue Ridge between the Southern and MCC.
Anyone have recent photos and news of its present ownership/status? I guess the plan to have stationary boiler students overhaul it fell through?

It was moved, secretly in the middle of the night after the school deal went nowhere. Since it took a lot of permits to truck it in, and was public property, it is interesting how it left with no one seeing or knowing. It is now privately owned (no one will explain how that transpired) and in a warehouse near the Northeast Corridor in Harrison, NJ.

Since this locomotive can be documented to having been at Spencer Shops, one hopes that someday it can return there.
