Heritage Preservation has published a 26-page report outlining what treasures were lost--and which weren't--during the tragedy of last September 11th in New York City. Among the losses were the entire archive of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey--although scattered (literally, I assume!) photos and documents survived. It makes quite interesting reading, and reinforces the notion that even "preservation" is at best a valiant effort.
