Are you after a copy of The Official Railway Guide(general info on the RR line), or an Official Railroad Equipment Register(freight equipment listings)? You may find some on Ebay. Just enter those titles into the search engine, and if any are up for auction, they should appear for you.

There are some reprints of Official Railway Guides being advertised in publications like TRAINS Magaznine . Also I believe that the NMRA has a reprint of an Official Equipment Register available. And Westfield a HO craftsman kit supplier has Equipment Registers on CD; check out their ads or website.
