Mid-Continent Railway Museum has in it's collection a SOO Line passenger car with narrow vestibules. I have never personally seen any other cars with this vestible design. Are there any other preserved cars out there with narrow vestibules? Thanks in advance for any info.

Allan,

The B&O "Royal Blue" car in Baltimore is a wonderful example.

Indeed, but it's worth noting that it's not really known to be an actual Royal Blue trainset car; in fact I'm not sure it's even known what RR it comes from originally. The car is for sure a narrow-vestibule coach of 1890s vintage, and it's currently painted to represent or "stand in" for an original Royal Blue trainset car...

I seem to recall that about ten or 12 years ago the Connecticut Electric Ry Museum (Warehouse Point) near Hartford obtained two narrow vestibule passenger cars. I think that they were from some New England road.

These cars are at Strasburg. They are cocooned awaiting restoration. They are ex-BAR.
