Indiana Transportation Museum will operate an all-day excursion between Indianapolis and Tipton, Ind., on November 2 behind Nickel Plate 2-8-2 No. 587.

The train, featuring Louisville & Nashville diner No. 2778 and Nickel Plate business car No. 1, will depart from Hobbs Station at the Museum in Noblesville at 10 a.m.

The morning ride will be a round trip from the Museum to the 38th Street crossing in Indianapolis. At 1:30 p.m., the train will depart from the Museum for a round trip to Tipton.
