While there is no shortage of photographs of the Rio Grande narrow gauge, shop, servicing and yard scenes taken at the Alamosa terminal are not often seen. The page below has several, taken in the early 1960s. Alas, all these historic structures were demolished after the 1970 sale of the line to the two states. What a place it could have been!
