In conjunction with the North Judson, Indiana MINT FESTIVAL, the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum will be offering FREE caboose rides this coming Fathers Day weekend. Ride in Bessember & Lake Erie #1989 (ex-EJ&E #510), Erie Lackawanna #C345 or EJ&E transfer caboose #184 (which is handicap accessible.) Motive power for the caboose train will be a 44 ton Whitcomb center cab (built in 1941) or a 95 ton GE end cab (built in 1952). Erie S1 Alco #310 will be on display. Rides will be offered on a continuing basis all day long on both Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

In addition, motor car rides will be offered and the museums Shop Building will be open for inspection (C&O 2-8-4 # 2789 is currently in the Shop.) The seven recently installed signals on the museum "main line" can also be seen and photographed.
