1965 photo of 0-6-0Ts being cut up at Eastleigh Workshops in the UK. I think these are former USATC American-built locos.

Yes, they were. Four sister locomotives from this class still remain in Great Britian:

30064 (VIW/4432/1943) at the Bluebell Railway
30065 (VIW/4441/1943) at the Kent & East Sussex Railway
30070 (VIW/4433/1943) at the Kent & East Sussex Railway
30072 (VIW/4446/1943) at Keighley and Worth Valley Railway

If my notes are correct, these were assigned to Southern Railway during the war.

Interestingly, Yugoslavia's Duro Dakovic Industrija Lokomotiva built replicas of this class of locomotives during the 1950s; one of them 669/1960 was imported into the UK and went to the Swanage Railway; where it was given the number 30075. It was originally JZ 62.669.
