Is there anyone out there interested in a derelict D&H wooden center copula caboose, in bad shape? Located in Mayfield Pa on the DL RR, not rail (road) worthy it would have to be trucked out. Contact off list at

Hello

A few things to note about this caboose. Yes it is in bad shape, not not a lost cause. It has sheet plywood style sides, not the "nicer" verticle boards on many other D&H hacks. It was a "pusher" caboose with a steel frame and steel bulkheads, making it a little bit more unusual. I always thought it would make a nice display somewhere along the D&H route, a project for industrious boy scouts and a town council with a few dollars perhaps.
