First, you need to know what a confined space is. That flyer has no applicability here. You can look up anything that has to do with OSHA on the internet. Search for "Pinch points" and "struck by". But look up confined space too.

"Confined space" has nothing to do with this blather about safety in coupling, BUT it ABSOLUTELY DOES have applications in a railroad environment.

Examples include working in a steam locomotive boiler or tender, working in a drop pit or ash dump pit, potentially digging a trench for trackwork, working on the insides of boxcars or tank cars, working in a "shop" set up inside a car or shipping container, etc.

The rules and regulations of "confined spaces" are "written in blood" just like al the other railroad safety rules you folks like to say are so written.

"BLATHER" ??? Really ??? Are you suggesting that I should have run over all those dingbats that got in between without giving me a stop sign ???

TRAINS KILL. That's why somebody cooked up the saying "SAFETY FIRST". No further explanation or debate should be necessary.
