Former CB&Q 135 foot turntable, located in Cicero, IL, has been removed from its pit and loaded on three flat cars, one load bearing and the other two as idler cars for movement to RRHMA's Silvis, IL, facility for eventual restoration and installation. This longer table will handle the length of UP 3985 when it is returned to operation.

Thanks to BNSF and the contractors, along with RRHMA volunteer Erik Hoofnagle, for their generosity and hard work.

This is in addition to the 110’ ex-Milwaukee turntable from Bensenville, IL, built by Bethlehem Steel in 1937, donated to them in 2022 that they already have stored there.

Thanks for that info. I expected that others would want it.

Awesome. 135 ft. will turn UP 4014 or PRR 6100. I think N&W 1218 will have to detach the Canteen.
