The company that is involved with the Azalea wishes to inform the followers that this is temporarily on hold while they focus on other aspects of their business. The company is trying to get the business end started and they are going for projects that will generate income that can used to fund the repairs and restoration of this railroad car. Projects like the Azalea while being in the business owners favor unfortunately do not turn a profit. The company is currently concentrating on the locomotive leasing end of their business interests."

I felt from the beginning that this guy was over his head and clueless, as I recall he had some sort of B&B idea in mind, but didn't know how much it would cost to move the car or the resistance of municipal types to having it in their neighborhood. According to a discussion on the GM&O HS facebook group he outbid others associated with the GM&O HS, I don't know if their plans were more serious but I really could have seen it somewhere like Monticello.

The nearest track WAS the Lehigh and Hudson River mainline, not a PRR branch. Long gone- Also, the Lackawanna 'Old Road' crossed over the L&HR on a bridge, almost within sight. Also long gone- This was my old neighborhood, knew the area well.
