Whatever happened to Nekoosa Paper C415 #21 at the Mid Continent Railway Museum? It's no longer listed in their roster of equipment on their website.

Mid-Continent actually disposed of the C415 a few years ago to an industrial operation.

The 21 was sold to Burlington Junction Railway
in Burlington Iowa. It joins two other C-415's
there, running on ex Rock Island track.

It's now in Fairfax, Kansas, lettered as SPTX 2409. It is on the property of Railway Equipment Contractors.

Interesting, the reporting marks are for Trinity Rail Management Incorporated, which owns quite a number of other oddballs, including MK50s, F59s, etc. https://www.rrpicturearchives.net/railr ... delsummary It would be great to have at least one C415 preserved, there was at least one other unit in New York recently as I recall.

There are two preserved C415s, possibly 3 if the BUGX one counts. I think the demo one is preserved in AU as well.
