Anyone know how the reassembly of SP 1629 is coming along in California?

Maybe you can let the web site know that the 0-6-0 that was in Alameda,CA was moved to the Golden gate Railroad Museum at Hunters Point, San Francisco.

They intend to restore her to operation, but I think it will be a long haul as they have the State Belt Line 0-6-0 ahead of her. Both engines are piles of parts.

The locomotive has been put back together for display purposes. You can probably find a current picture from the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society.
