Good to hear this.

By the way, I believe that the next oldest existing SP diesel is 1006. The 1006 was a SW-1 built in November of 1939 [1000 is from February. 1939].

The 1006 is in the collection of Orange Empire Ry Museum. The musuem's diesel crew is getting ready for an overhaul and restoration of the 1006 to its appearance c1940.
