Ex-Santa Fe 2-6-2, sold to an east Texas lumber road. A group in Shreveport, LA reportedly got this one several years ago. Did they ever take it to Shreveport? Progress report, photos?

My understanding is that it is in Shreveport, not far from the yard. I have had no luck finding it, much less photographing it.

Surviving World Steam Project

It has been seen on & off near the Shreveport Yard. The group, the Red River Railroad Historical Society seems to have partly disappeared from view, particularly after an adjunct effort to preserve the former Texas & Pacific Railway station apparently came to nought.

Previously, they had hoped to get excursions going slong the riverfront, with equipment seen stored next to the former Central Station--that, too faded into oblivion..
