I hate to report this to the list, but I was negotiating the sale of surplus rail magazines from various sources to one of the few dealers out there--one who was willing to be upfront with me--and when he got to the boxload of L&RPs I had, he pointed and said, "Okay, now, these, I suggest you tear up and use as packing material as far as monetary value goes....."

If this is truly the case, I suggest that a complete set of L&RP be rescued and enshrined at every rail preservation site before it's too late.

Way ahead of you. I still consider the series of articles done on wood cars in L&RP to be a bible to anyone interested in rescuing a wood car. We have a near complete set at our museum; problem is that most of the missing issues are early ones.
By the way, does anyone have or know if a Volume I was ever bound? If you don't want those L&RP's By the way Alex if you don't want those L&RP's, I'll be happy to take them off your hands ;-)
