These two carriers will never see action again. A group in Newport is trying to obtain the Saratoga as a museum, and a group in Baltimore is trying to get the Forrestal. Of the two, I want to see Forrestal preserved, as she is the first "Super Carrier," and the forerunner of all her successors. Having watched the Coral Sea's slow agonizing death in Baltimore, I wish both groups the best.
