The interesting brief regarding former B&H 250 being moved to EDAville raised a question for me. Brian noted that the climax that was displayed at EDAville was moved and then restored at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. I was under the impression that the Climax at the RR museum of PA was the one from EDAville. Am I wrong, did that engine come from somewhere else? I can't seem to put my finger on where it would have come from if not EDAville though...

Re the Climax engine mentioned in todays brief. I have long been a member of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. The engine arrived from Edaville in 1989. It completed the museum's long quest for examples of all three geared types with Pennsylvania operating connections.

Edaville RR had a number of static display items over the years. The Louisiana sugar plantation Godchaux #2 or #4 was there for some years. Does anyone know where it is now?

The locomotive you are thinking of is Godchaux Sugar 3-foot gauge 2-6-0 6. It was originally a Davenport 0-4-4T and was later rebuilt by Godchaux as a 2-6-0. After leaving its display at Edaville it went to the Fennimore (WI) Railroad Historical Society where it is on display today. See below link for a current photo.

Sorry,I had my numbers mixed up.The Ex-Moore,Keppel & Co. Climax #3 is the locomotive that is now in Connecticut,and was recently for sale.It had been steamed up in the early ninetys.The #4 was indeed sent to Pennsylvania from Edaville.
Does anyone know if the Trolley Museum plans to operate the #3 anytime soon?

They don't plan to operate it soon. In fact, they've been trying to get rid of it for some time now. It's been offered in various auctions for extremely large amounts of money. The link below is to #3's roster page on the Connecticut Trolley Museum website; this page says that the lowest acceptable bid for the thing is $200,000 and that it's "estimated value" is $500,000. Go figure.
