SNCF 141, operating earlier this month. North American, anyway, it might be one of the Canadian-built engines.

Also, on that page, check out the newly-forged crank axle for the 241 (4-8-2). Once common, but an impressive piece of work for these times, when all we make is computer chips and trinkets.

Yea, that is a pretty impressive piece of metal working.

Hopefully one day in the near future, we'll be seeing an announcement there about 10 new narrow gauge steamers being constructed for Germany (or maybe even the U.S.)!
