Is there a list documenting the equipment sitting there? I see a lot of Milwaukee Road equipment. Is it all MILW?Erich

Is it all MILW?[/quote]The majority is MILW, including the cabs, possibly excepting the wood cupola caboose (I had information at one time about the cupola, or possibly a different car not observed here being a former MILW superintendent's car). The heavyweights riding six-wheel plain bearing trucks may not be, as I couldn't get specific information from Mr. Dillman about them.

I believe the Texas group is only interested in the CB&Q cars. The Milwaukee equipment still needs a good home.

Hi,I list the following steel, bay window, rib sided, MILW cabooses at the sand & gravel company location: 901996, 902004, 902021, 992030, 902061, 992078, 902081, and 902084. I assume the "90" prefix on the numbers was for shipping as non railroad owned equipment and that the 2 numbers with "99" were later acquisitions or are typos by the reporter or myself.The following steel, bay window, smooth sided, MILW cabooses are at this location: 902121, 902126, 902156, 902171, and 902174.The final caboose of the bunch is SOO #?, reported as a wood, cupola, caboose as well as a steel, cupola, car!PdC has 2 other reported cabooses: wood, cupola, DM&IR #?, near a cement plant, Villa Louis Rd. and steel, bay window, smooth sided, MILW #?, campground & golf course, name & address?, north of town.Does anyone know 1, 2, &/or 3 of the missing road numbers?Thanks, Roger

The camground is "Sports Unlimited Campground". It's on North Main St/ County Highway K. Also, just down the road by the highway dept salt shed is another Milwaukee rib side caboose. The Villa Louis Rd address is the sand and gravel co, so I'd guess that is the wood cupola caboose there.

Actually, I believe it may be Milwaukee caboose. I was told that Mr. Dillman acquired it along with the Milwaukee bunk car (that Mid-Continent acquired from him) from the SOO some time after the SOO purchased the Milwaukee line accross the river from Prarie Du Chein.
