While our bridge was in relatively good shape every thing electrical was not. The motors are currently being reassembled at Electric Motor and Supply here in Altoona. The control shanty and components are in very bad shape. The resistor bank on the side has much of the insulation missing between them and some of then are broke. We are working with the Hite Company an electrical supply house here in Altoona on the best way to repair or replace them. We may be limited on solutions do to the motor type. I’m open for suggestions on the best way to drive a AC slip ring motor, they have three leads to the windings and three leads to the slip rings to vary the speed.
