I believe this page has been updated since I last visited, with additional information. The 0-4-0T has changed a lot in appearance since I last saw it. It previously was a saddletanker, with a huge fake funnel stack added. I presume the tank was heavily rusted and removed, which made it look much like the little side tank Davenport at Frontier Town. The Davenport at Frontier Town was definitely there about three years ago when I visited, displayed on a siding near the parking lot with a small gas mechanical (Porter?) that had side rods.

I was up there in June as well. If the engine you're talking about is the "Maude L." it was traded to Disney for a bigger engine. The new engine was in the engine house, not under steam and I didn't get a good look at it. They had 2 2-4-0's under steam, and another small engine, which appeared to be a 2-4-0 under a tarp behind the engine house. The dead engine is a Davenport 2-6-0 with a lap-seam boiler. It's parked sans tender in front of a wood caboose.

I was kind of suprised to see they use link and pin couplers.

Sadly, this engines wheelbase is too long for the curves at Cedar Point, thus rendering it "useless" for them.

Yeah! Kind of wish they had some airbrakes too, or at least a handbrake on the last car so they can work against the brakes, and keep the slack stretched out. While there is no grade to speak of, It takes them a long time to stop at the main station towards the front of the park, and the slack likes to run in and out some.
