Tom;

Yes, I believe that is correct. In the picture I have of her before she sank, she is white with oval windows on the side.

Looking forward to your e-mail.

Tom,

I realized during the posts on the seating that I never responded to this. Perhaps you caught my mention of Charleston & Western Carolina combine No. 38 there. It was supposedly built by AC&F at the Jckson & Sharp works in Wilmington in about 1914. I have not been able to confirm this, but a builders photo of a sister car shows this information on the board in the photograph. The car went to the Georgia Northern, then to the Alton & Southern, who donated the car to the Museum of Transportation. MOT gifted the car to Thronateeska Heritage Center and we moved it to Savannah for exterior restoration at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum. There were a few photos of the car in transit circulating on the internet in early '04. I could send some photos if you would like to see them.

Tom,

The PRR coach is at the Newtown Square Railroad Museum. It has been awaiting restoration and under a tarp. It kis hoped that his spring will bring a start to the restoration.
