Is Linda Barth still the City of LA minion in control of the project?

If by project you mean Travel Town, no, Linda has taken a promotion and moved elsewhere within the City.

I visited TT a few weeks ago and met with several of the volunteers, they seem to be headed in the right direction, notably toward being an interpretive museum display. They know the significance of the collection and are making great strides despite having to work within the constraints of City politics and like the rest of us, rather minimal funding. They are not short on enthusiasm to be sure.
