In the spirit of Jaws, "it's only an island if you look at it from the water."

Bob,

I know that at one time there was a lot of standard gauge equipment at Edaville; aside from the well known two foot gauge equipment.

The Flying Yankee is in New Hampshire, the B&M 1455 is in Connecticut, the passenger cars are as noted in Massachusetts.

I have a roster if you would like a copy?

Ted,

If the Edaville roster incudes cabooses, I'd like a copy!

Thanks, Roger, whose train of thought is a caboose

We ate at the Black Dog 10 years ago, and I never even noticed a coach out back.

The Jamaican railway has been bust since about 1990. I rode the booze train from Montego Bay in 1989, and the line was definitely 3rd world. I had a railfan contact for that line years ago, and shared my pictures with him.

A short section of line serves a quarry, but otherwise there has been nothing but talk of revival. The steamer exists in storage, with boiler problems caused by impromptu use as a shop compressor. I understand that the jewelry has been stolen as well.

Now there is a canidate for Steamtown if I've ever seen one...

Of course, I wouldn't mind seeing that car go to Delaware to tag along behind a certain 4-4-0 with a mix of vintage freight cars...not to mention some of it's DL&W relatives.
