Robert, I have to ask, so please don't bang your head on the table too much. If the design flaws with this engine existed since the time that Pennsy owned it, why was it not caught much sooner? Were form 4 calculations not done until well into the restoration process, and only then was it realised that design flaws existed? I would have thought that the calculations would have been done first, and then steps to remediate would have followed, not restoration of the boiler and then a "discovery". What am I missing here?
