I would put CNJ 113 in this category. She was pure junk and stripped as a parts source when brought to Minersville, PA more that ten years ago. Over 80% of her tender was replaced. A steam up this coming summer or fall is very possible barring any problems. She was probably just a little better than the "Lost Locomotives" when she arrived.

How you guys have done what you've done under a tarp is absolutely amazing. I first saw 113 in '96 or '97 and I thought it's restoration was a pipedream. Its nice to be pleasantly surprised once in a while.

Central Railroad of New Jersey No. 113 0-6-0 is getting closer to be in operating condition. That sat for years out side at Locust Summit Breaker, and was last used in the 1960's.
