Without revealing too much information, I can say that 469 will likely be saved and returned to operation by summer. They are indeed scrapping some of the other locos mentioned, starting with the RS11 next week.

Lake State Railway apparently is getting some increase in tonnage and is currently acquiring or has acquired EMD's with more horsepower.
