Lest I forget the streamlined Heisler Fireless!!! Thanks, Aarne. Incidentally, this locomotive is currently in our Restoration Shop getting a most thorough cosmetic going-over. We discovered that the engine was originally painted midnight blue with silver lettering. When it emerges from our shop in early spring it will sport its c.1940 appearance in this earlier paint scheme. A nice improvement!

Good point. Several of the 1940s and later Porter fireless engines had that streamlined shroud on them. Most of the ones I have seen had shrouds in pretty bad shape.
