It looks to me like both pictures show Russia iron jacketing on the engines (although the Buffalo jacket needs polishing). Wow.

There is one of these buildings, without engines, still standing in what used to be Waterworks Park in Detroit. It was closed to the public during the first wave of sabotage paranoia, in World War II. This was the site of a Society for Industrial Archeology picnic around 1982, when the Lansdowne with attached Milwaukee Skytops was moored nearby. You never know what you're gonna see on these tours.
