I'm also curious to learn if Delson has anything. I keep hearing that they have stuff, but I have never heard from anyone who has actually gotten anything from them.

I have Joe. About 15 years ago I got the original blue prints and spec sheets for ETR #9 from them as well as some of the blue prints for CNR Hudson #5700 (a.k.a. 5703). Both MLW locomotives.

Buzz, The MLW locomotives in question are from the Montreal Locomotive Works, not the Milwaukee Road. But thanks for the tip, Dave

The MLW archives ARE at Exporail in Delson. I've seen them and have received copies of most of the things I requested. It is possible they do not have the info your are looking for on that specific locomotive, but there is no question in my mind the bulk of the MLW records are there.

It was 17 years ago. Long before they built their new archives centre. Back then it was slow, but I eventually got what I needed. I just had to remind them once in a while. French would also be a help, but not a necessity.

Ah-So… didn’t think Milwaukee built a H6 class. MLW not MILW, I need to get new glasses.

I have a request in with them now for GTR S-1-f erection drawings. I got one e-mail back telling me how much it would be per hour for search and I told them to go for it and I have not heard back from them.
