Oldest Park Locomotive?

I think you're referring to the 1843 Rogers, Ketchum and Grosvenor 4-2-2 that is on display at the Central Station in Havana? Image below:

EP&SW #1 was in a building since the late 1960's on the Texas Western/UTEP campus. If you were in it after 7:00 AM on most summer days it brought new meaning to the term "Wait and Bake". The structure was constructed due to the inflences of Mr. White of the Smithsonian. The some of the correspondence existed in the mid 1990s and it was interesting reading. Mr. White realized both the fragile condition and historical importance of the locomotive on a national scale.

Parts of El Paso just saw a severe thunderstorm that destroyed windows on homes and automobiles and other significant damage. I was comforted to know that #1 was well protected from the elements and it is secure from some of the vandalizim that many locomotives see today.

There is another steam locomotive located in Navarre, OH. This is Raritan Copper No 8...30" gauge. Formerly displayed at Edaville, at some point moved to the roundhouse shopping mall in Keene, NH, then to a shopping center in Hyannis, MA...then to Navarre, OH for operational restoration. (Thanks to Keith Taylor for this info!) The loco has been converted to a tender engine.
