It is often cheaper for the British to move full-sized main line steamers with road trailers from place to place than it is to ship them via rail. Mind you, we're talking the equivalent of Philadelphia to Strasburg or Chicago to Union or Scranton to Albany, not Portland, Oregon to Michigan............
