I got to know Kevin through his service to RYPN and the great job that he did as a moderator for the board. He was understanding of both the need to maintain civility while showing empathy for even the most obstreperous. While most of you only saw his public postings, he also welcomed talking with other moderators about how to handle different situations. His mild comments, both on the board and in private messages, helped to maintain balance. Moderating this board is a constant and thankless task and Kevin's tenaciousness is one of the reasons the board is still here.

I hope that his survivors will find some comfort that a bit of him lives on in his preserved posts on RYPN and in the discussion forum that he helped sustain.
