Did I just see that beautiful little engine traveling north on the BRW pulling a caboose?

R U sure that wasn't the Norfolk Southern "Lehigh Valley" heritage unit? ;-)

Pete,

Yup! you saw right.

LV 112 received a blue card today and hauled a cabin car from Ringoes to Flemington and back. She preformed well and we will continue to work towards getting a paint job in the coming months.

If not for the hard work of 4 core guys this would not have been possible, THANK YOU.

LV 112 is 80 years old today!

She was out yesterday working a pull, pull train for opening day for the local little league. Three coaches sandwiched between a 70 year old SW1 (PRR 9206) and 112. The glug, glug of those little six cylinders is sweet!

I've begun body work in prep for a paint job to bring her back into LV livery, hope to have it done by the fall.

Here's a photo of LV 112 masquerading as Black River & Western 400 last May pinch hitting freight duties on the BRW.

Looking pretty slight against those modern freight cars.

Looking great Scott!

By far one of the finest restorations of a SW1 out there.
