Been there, done that, sorry they don't have a T-shirt.

Yes Montevideo and the AFE standard gauge system is one of the poorest utilized railroads. Buenos Aires is great for train watching. I have noted a increase of street crime in Lima, Peru, not sure how that corresponds to rest of Latin America.
