This view of SN 1005 on its special run for major donors on September 17, 2010, is extremely similar to what would have been seen when 1005 was in revenue service on the Sacramento Northern in the 1920's or 1930's.

Even the poles are in exactly the same places. I'm not sure when the Eucalyptus trees were planted, however.
