Everyone keeps asking "the question" about where she will run or be test run. I have not been privy to any discussions with other operations if there even has been any. Bob wants to get the locomotive together and running. Then we will go on from there.

I am as anxious as anyone to see her run and without going into details, the compressor thing is bumming me out. It should have been done long ago.

There is a little more than the compressor that has to be done. These final details can be unnerving in the amount of time it takes to get them done.

Once you start running and gain experience, you will learn that the appliances and small complicated stuff - compressor, governor, injector, dynamo, etc - will drive you nuts while the big running gear stuff will run forever on a bit of cleaning, oil, and occasional adjustment. Welcome.
