The remaining working riverboat, the Liberty Belle, has several items that were among the stash of spare parts brought back with the locomotives themselves - namely the headlight, whistle, and bell.

The boiler is a package boiler with a neat pair of reciprocating steam pumps pumping the boiler fuel and a steam turbine driven boiler feedpump, all in a cage on the lower deck to keep prying fingers away. I don't know if the steam engines themselves are from an older boat, or were built new for the Liberty Belle.

The big steering wheel is mostly for show -- it is guided by an underwater track during it's trips around the lagoon, though I think it is self-guided on it's trips to the maintenance center, where the monorails, steam trains, and road vehicles are also maintained.

1. How is a water-tube boiler not a pressure vessel? Essentially?
2. Only $34,000 in material? Wow, cheap!

I'd love to know more detail about the project and how this was built.

If that first comment from the website is representative of the level of knowledge used in this project, you'll understand my level of horror. Did they have to get approval from the State of California to operate this pro choice conveyance? They would have in Texas.
