First two, built at Angus Shop 1944: 1200 and 1201, class G-5a (the first two, "experimental")

Next 30, built by MLW, 8-1945 to 11-1945: 1202 to 1231, class G-5b

Then 20 more, MLW, 4-1946 to 9-1946: 1232 to 1251, class G-5c

And 20 again, CLC, 9-1946 to 4-1947: 1252 to 1271, class G-5c

and the final batch of 30, by CLC, 4-1948 to 8-1948: 1272 to 1301, class G-5d

So, 102 total G-5 locomotives on CPR.
