How about the C&O 490 at the B&O Museum?

While a more viable option (considering it exists), I thought maybe the
Turbine could circumvent CSX's no steam engine policy, lol. It would be
kind of cool to swap out engines with the B&O Railroad Museum every
15 years or so, though deeper pockets would be necessary for sure.

Not to start any unfounded rumors, just wishful thinking on my part. Maybe with the success that NS is having with the 21St Century Steam Program, CSX might be reconsidering it's "No Steam" stance.

Just wishful thinking.

Ross, I know a few guys down here in Alabama that can fix 614 right up. Be willing to throw my help in there as well.

Really, when is that "like" button going to be added??? I'm just content with the fact that this project is going forward.

Impatience is also a virtue.

Sit patiently long enough, and the rust will miraculously reverse itself and the items will magically paint themselves. Or, eventually, that locomotive or station you all talked endlessly and "patiently" about acquiring and restoring won't ever disappear under a bulldozer or scrapping team.

Righto.
