I didn't post since I figured something more concrete would appear in response, but I went looking on Google Street View a day ago. It was still there and looking much the same in February 2023 (I may be slightly off on the date since it has been a day or more) when they were last was by the site.

No guarantee that it's still there, so I didn't post at the time. But it at least it's confirmation that it survived until at least recently.

Are the GPS coordinates for its location available? You could check in Google Earth fairly quickly, and that might also show the nearby environment of the car in case there are any pending clean-ups or intentions of re=use of the land...

The car is still in Boulder City. Three years ago we cleaned it, removing debris including broken furniture and nearly a food of pigeon exhaust, and making some efforts to exclude pegions. We did locate the gift deed, giving the car to the Nevada State Railroad Museum.

The car came to Las Vegas as part of a proposed railroad themed casino development. It and a second business car were put up as part of a performance bond to the Las Vegas redevelopment agency. That project defaulted and the two cars were seized, and moved to an industrial siding in downtown Vegas (north of Fremont Street) There they were set upon by homeless and drug addicted. The second car was burned, with some damage done to Nobleman. In the aftermath the Nevada State Railroad Museum agreed to scrap the remains of the "other" car. Nobleman was moved to the museum, where it has seen little love, a former Museum Director calling it the "scarry car"

It is a wood bodied, steel sheathed, steel underframe car, and is generally straight.

As of three years ago when I retired there were no plans for the car beyond basic stabilization.
