From the info I was able to get today, the PA&P was the original name of the line that ran to Keasey and Vernonia. It was later known as United Railways, and later part of the SP&S. The United Raiways was at one time an electric line. This line later became the steam powered tourist Vernonia Sunset South Park and Pacific, or something like that, in the 60's/ early 70's. This line was the first to become a "Rails to Trails" park in the state of Oregon. Many of the huge trestles still stand.
