Sorry Charlie. Forgot there were a couple others there who have some interest.

One thing ill never question is Wendell's work ethic. To still be going at his age is a feat in itself. He and I may not always agree on the method, but he puts in a harder day's work than many half his age.

As far as I know, there was no bidding on this car; it was an outright sale to its current owner.

Yes. The only other surviving car operated by a Monmouth County based trolley system that I know of is former Coast Cities #703/Newport (RI) Electric Company #703/Bay State Street Railway #4175. The car has been undergoing a long but beautiful restoration at Seashore Trolley Museum as #4175.
