Well, It appears complete, so long as whoever were to move it makes sure to vacuum up all the parts. It appears to be a rather simple wood cab on a wood frame, and they still do cut some Doug Fir out west. Hope it finds a savior.

It's cool that FVHRS is getting the 1207. I seem to recall their existing car is a later build with an arch roof; the railroad roof cars were classics. Sounds like it is going to a good home.

Congratulations! Was there any discussion about the BCER flatbed freight motor and snowplow in Snoqualmie? It is a kit, but not impossible.

The snowplow status has been discussed on a very low key level. But nothing concrete.

It you are talking about BCER 1304, it did have a roof profile similar to 1207. It was built by the BCER in 1911. However, in September, 1945 it caught fire when empty at the end of a three car train. Nevertheless, BCER decided to rebuild it and that is when it got its arch roof. Other changes were added: Instead of two toilets, only one. First and only BCER interurban to get leather seats.
Our 1225 a 1912 St Louis Car Co. built car has an arched roof and the one the FVHRS currently operates in the City of Surrey.

That's great news about the 1207! Congrats to everyone involved. So can your little generator car power a multiple unit train?

Discussion on that topic was brought forward between FVHRS board members as negotiations began and it was felt that no 1225 and 1207 could not be MUed using the genset that powers 1225. But, never says never?

At this time 1207's triple valve is need of a rebuild and when the original lease was drawn up between the City of Vancouver and 1207's owners it was agreed that only two of the four motors were to be rehabilitated. As such the armatures for two motors were taken out and not replaced; as such 1207 operated with the DHR using only two motors.

It's one step at a time. First is to get 1304 rehabilitated and operating which as you know costs $$$$$.

At least it stays home.

Generators come in many sizes......... let's worry about real problems if we have to worry, and offer congrats and best wishes.

I am glad to hear the 1207 is going to Cloverdale. You guys seem to have a good solid operation and she is back on her home rails. Saturday I passed through Cloverdale but didn't have time to drop by the car barn. Did load up at the Cloverdale Bakery.

Well, just as well as there was nobody there on Saturday. Our 2015 operating season ended on October 11th. Hope the bake goods were great?
